As Research and Innovative Practice Manager at The Brenda Strafford Foundation, she is responsible for assisting the Foundation in becoming recognized for knowledge creation and application to advance the quality of care and life for older adults.
Jenna’s education journey includes a Master of Health Leadership and Policy in Seniors Care from the University of British Columbia and a Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics from Western University. She is also a Certified Personal Trainer and is currently on the Board of Directors for Unison for Generations 50+.
Prior to her current position, Jenna led community initiatives that aimed to reduce ageism and create inclusive environments that supported and fostered the health and wellbeing of older adults.
Allie’s passion for innovation and learning has fueled a recent pivot from her position as a dietitian at The Brenda Strafford Foundation’s (BSF) Cambridge Manor to working with the Dr. Barrie Strafford Centre for Learning, Innovation and Quality (CLIQ) team.
Her client-centered focus, strong communication and organizational skills, and open mind towards change have empowered her to innovate, including working on many projects to improve nutrition services at Cambridge Manor.
Allie completed her bachelor’s degree in nutrition at the University of Saskatchewan and has worked as a registered dietitian for seven years in a variety of dietitian roles across Alberta and Saskatchewan. She has been a part of the BSF team since 2020 and is excited to work on quality improvement projects on a larger scale in her new role.
Passionate about problem solving and dedicated to improving the quality of care through evidence-informed decision making. Josie recently joined the Dr. Barrie Strafford Centre for Learning, Innovation and Quality (CLIQ) team as a Quality Improvement Specialist.
Josie is excited to utilize her background and skills in her new role at The Brenda Strafford Foundation and work on quality improvement through innovative solutions. She is committed to delivering meaningful insight through sustainable practices.
Her educational journey includes the completion of a Bachelor’s degree (BSc) in Physics at Keele University and a Master’s degree (MSc) in Cancer Biology & Radiotherapy Physics at The University of Manchester. She then went on to work for the National Health Service (NHS) in the UK as a Senior Commissioning Analyst where she worked on numerous projects which succeeded in improving the quality and delivery of healthcare.
Josie decided to pursue her dream of living in Canada and moved from Staffordshire, England to Calgary, Alberta in January 2024. She has thoroughly been enjoying exploring the city and the Rocky Mountains. She is excited to photograph some Canadian wildlife and landscapes.
Liping has been a valuable member of The Brenda Strafford Foundation’s (BSF) Resident Assessment Instrument – Minimum Data Set (RAI-MDS) team since 2011. Known for her collaborative nature, Liping has taken the lead on Electronic Health Record projects across various long-term care and supportive living sites. She has successfully implemented initiatives such as eMAR, Skin and Wound module, Supportive Living Point of Care (POC), and has efficiently digitalized numerous paper assessments, including move-in history, Oral Health Assessment Tool (OHAT), interdisciplinary referrals and more.
With an in-depth understanding of RAI-MDS, Liping’s expertise was recognized when she achieved an impressive score of 90.5% in the Alberta Health Service 2014 MDS Audit, ranking as the second highest score in the province.
Liping Fei’s professional journey as a Registered Nurse spans both international and diverse healthcare settings. She earned her nursing diploma in Wuhan Nursing School and holds a bachelor’s degree in health administration from Hubei Medical University. Additionally, Liping pursued further education and obtained a master’s degree in nursing from Wuhan University.
Prior to immigrating to Canada, Liping gained extensive experience in acute care settings in China and the USA. Throughout her career, she has held various roles, including unit manager and international program coordinator, displaying her versatility and adaptability. Before joining BSF, Liping served as an educator coordinator at Wing Kei Care Center, further enriching her skill set.
With 37 years of nursing experience, Liping continuously approaches her work with an open mind. She is driven to contribute to teamwork and person-centered care. With her profound knowledge and unwavering dedication to her work, Liping is proud to be a part of the the Dr. Barrie Strafford Centre for Learning, Innovation and Quality (CLIQ) team.
With over 20 years of diverse experience spanning across industries and continents, Dupe has developed a deep understanding of leveraging operational data to extract valuable insights that contribute to the development and refinement of corporate strategies. His expertise lies in helping organizations make sense of complex data sets, identifying patterns, and translating them into actionable insights.

As CLIQ's Innovation Specialist, Erin is responsible for driving innovation across all aspects of BSF operations. She collaborates with diverse stakeholders to lead projects from ideation to execution, ensuring successful integration and adoption of innovative practices.
Erin brings a wealth of experience and passion for innovation to our team, and we are excited to have her on board. Erin's journey with BSF began in 2011 at Clifton Manor. In her role as Manager of Therapeutic Recreation and Volunteer Services, Erin focused on enhancing the quality of life for our diverse resident population. Her efforts led to the implementation of various community engagement activities and volunteer opportunities, including the establishment of a new drumming program at Clifton that has since expanded to enrich the lives of many across BSF.
Erin’s diverse experience working in various roles across BSF also includes Adult Day Program Manager at Bow View Manor, Hospitality Manager at Wentworth Manor, and most recently, Resource Development Specialist as part of BSF’s corporate office.
