New residents at Wentworth Manor are in for a warm welcome thanks to our new Resident Ambassador Program, proudly supported by BSF’s Dr. Barrie Strafford Centre for Learning, Innovation & Quality (CLIQ).
With this program, new residents will be greeted with even more support and smiling faces when they move in. Two of our incredible students from Bow Valley College’s Social Work program, Erika and Simone, took the initiative to find out exactly what kind of program the residents wanted. The result? A resounding call for more support for new residents!
Over the past two months, these dedicated students worked tirelessly, collaborating with residents and staff to bring the Resident Ambassador program to life. Their hard work and passion ensured that every detail was perfect, from logistics to preparing the five resident ambassadors. These ambassadors are now ready to provide tours, welcome packages, and companionship to those moving in.
On June 26, the program officially launched with a bang! The Resident Ambassadors proudly created tags for their doors and celebrated with cupcakes, sharing the excitement with their fellow residents. The frame displaying the resident ambassadors now hangs proudly in Wentworth Manor, and we can't wait to welcome the next new resident!
